Course Curriculum

Week 1

This module covers the basics of IT, such as hardware, software, networking, security, and troubleshooting. You will learn how to set up and maintain a computer system, as well as how to use common applications and tools. This module will help you prepare for the CompTIA IT Fundamentals certification exam.

Week 3

This module introduces you to the Python programming language, one of the most popular and widely used languages for data science. You will learn the basic syntax, data structures, control structures, functions, and modules of Python. You will also learn how to use Python for data analysis, such as reading and writing files, working with pandas and numpy libraries, and visualising data with Matplotlib.

Week 4

This module builds on the previous module and covers more advanced topics in Python, such as object-oriented programming, exception handling, debugging, testing, and web scraping. You will also learn how to use Python for machine learning, such as using scikit-learn library, building and evaluating models, and applying common algorithms such as regression, classification, clustering, and recommendation systems.

Week 5

This module covers the topics and skills required for the CompTIA Data+ certification exam. You will learn how to design and implement data solutions using various technologies and platforms, such as cloud computing, big data, data warehousing, data mining, business intelligence, and artificial intelligence. You will also learn how to apply ethical principles and best practices to data projects.
